Horeb, WI 53572 (608) 527-2026 jbbarry@hotmail.com Jonathan Barry has been active in the business development of the Madison area including being the current president of Tyrol Basin Corporation, past president of W.T. Rogers Company and GAMMEX rmi®, and executive vice president and chief operating officer of WTG Corporation, a venture capital holding and real estate development company. He also has operated a family beef and produce farm in the town of Primrose since 1970. Barry’s long standing commitment to public service has included being elected twice to the Dane County Board of Supervisors, serving three terms as state representative and holding the position of Dane County Executive from 1981 to 1988. In addition, Barry chaired two Governor's Commissions, one on state and local mandates and the other on school tax relief. In 1973, he helped create and organize the Dane County Farmers’ Market on the Square and served as first manager until 1981. Barry has long been committed to public education, serving as a Regent for the University of Wisconsin from 1990 to 2003, on the Wisconsin State Technical College System Board from 1988 to 2003 and on the Wisconsin TEACH Board from 1997 to 2002 bringing technology to Wisconsin schools and libraries. Barry is a lifelong resident of Wisconsin and graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
