| Since 1984, Randy Dimond has worked as the vice president and chief technical officer of Promega Corporation. He has also worked at the University of Wisconsin since 1985 as an adjunct professor of bacteriology.
Dimond is a member of a number of professional societies, including the Society for Development Biology, American Society for Cell Biology, American Association of Clinical Chemists, American Society of Microbiology, Licensing Executives Society, Association of University Technology Managers and New York Academy of Sciences. He is published in more than 50 papers in peer review journals and has 10 issued patents.
Dimond graduated from the University of Utah in 1970 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He received his doctorate in biology at the University of California–San Diego in 1975 and was a postdoctoral fellow of the Jane Coffin Childs Memorial Fund at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1975 to 1977. |
